The soundtrack consists of dialogue, accompanied by the sounds of a holy mass heard in the background. It documents an act of atonement: a real life confession made by the artist—a confidential conversation that has been recorded and presented in public. Inside the confessional Dobrucki talks about his life and doubts using quotes from Ingmar Bergman’s film “The Seventh Seal.” In so doing, the artist evokes fundamental existential issues. Yet the staged situation and the performed role gain authenticity as a dialogue owing to the approach of the priest, who ventures to answer the doubts and wants to share the burden of indecision. It is does not matter if he is aware of his role in the artist’s work. Dobrucki’s interests focus on the questions raised by the ritual of washing away sins, a procedure that releases the individual from the committed moral wrongs and restores the ties with the religious community. The ritual requires contrition and shame for the committed wrongs. Dobrucki’s artistic activity, which feeds on the sacrament of penance, is an attempt to recreate this rite of passage. His work can be described as a profanation in its original sense—relocating the sacrament from the sacred sphere to the sphere of use with a&nbsp;view to understanding its mystery and transformative force. Modern AI algorithms possess the capability to analyze elements present within the frame and generate theoretical extensions of the image. By recognizing patterns and context, they can predict how a given scene might appear beyond the frame's boundaries and generate credible extensions.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; However, framing is more than a technical decision—it is a gesture that subordinates visibility to the logic of desire. What is included in the frame is rendered visible and inscribed within relations of power, hierarchy, and consumption. Images are subject to market mechanisms, becoming objects of desire while also functioning as tools that generate that desire. Every frame carries the potential for manipulation: the selection of certain elements inherently excludes others, and what is made visible constructs a narrative designed to satisfy our aesthetic and emotional needs. The ability to extend a frame offered by AI algorithms operates as an extension of this logic. Going beyond the boundaries of the original image not only speculates on what might be there but also intensifies desire—the urge to see "more" or "better." Yet, each such extension also presents an opportunity for critical analysis. By examining what is completed or imagined, we can reflect on the desires driving our gaze and why certain elements of a scene—images, bodies, spaces—become the focus of attention. Frame extension thus becomes not only a technology of the image but also a tool for reflection. What is added reveals what was previously overlooked, and the very desire to look beyond the frame exposes the mechanisms shaping our perception. Wykraczanie poza granice pierwotnego obrazu nie tylko spekuluje na temat tego, co mogłoby tam być, ale również intensyfikuje pożądanie – chęć zobaczenia „więcej” lub „lepiej”. A drone - an instrument of surveillance, armed with a camera that provides visual evidence. In this case it became a protagonist by being transfigured into Icarus, whose desire of seeing everything from god's perspective led him to tragedy. In my work I used a fragment of Michel de Certeau’s book The Practice of Everyday Life. An Icarus flying above these waters, he can ignore the devices of Daedalus in mobile and endless labyrinths far below. His elevation transfigures him into a voyeur. It puts him at a distance. It transforms the bewitching world by which one was "possessed" into a text that lies before one's eyes. It allows one to read it, to be a solar Eye, looking down like a God. The exaltation of a scopic and gnostic drive: the fiction of knowledge is related to this lust to be a viewpoint and nothing more. The simple construction of the camera requires a long exposure time (a few minutes) so it sharply capture only the stationary elements of the image. Bodies, as moving elements, are not captured. The only body that appears in the photographs is my own - intentionally kept still - voyeur figure - artist in process. The work reflects on the photographic image which, in the context of voyeurism and acts of peeping in spaces seemingly devoid of eroticism, is expected to satisfy the voyeur's pornographic desire. The poetic quality of the image produced by the camera obscura keeps this dimension understated. What is captured is not equal to what is seen. It is a documentation of a performance (peeping) by the photographic tool that does not comply with documentary standards.
