A video piece referring to the myth of Icarus. The drone, an instrument of surveillance armed with a camera that provides visual evidence, becomes the protagonist, transfigured into Icarus, whose desire to see everything from a god's perspective led him to tragedy. The video shows the drone rising against the sun until it shrinks and disappears into its disc. Its soundtrack and text draw on a fragment of Michel de Certeau's The Practice of Everyday Life.
An Icarus flying above these waters, he can ignore the devices of Daedalus in mobile and endless labyrinths far below.
His elevation transfigures him into a voyeur. It puts him at a distance. It transforms the bewitching world by which one was "possessed" into a text that lies before one's eyes. It allows one to read it, to be a solar Eye, looking down like a God.
The exaltation of a scopic and gnostic drive: the fiction of knowledge is related to this lust to be a viewpoint and nothing more.

Praca wideo odwołująca się do mitu Ikara. Dron, narzędzie nadzoru uzbrojone w kamerę dostarczającą dowodów wizualnych, staje się protagonistą, przemienionym w Ikara, którego pragnienie ujrzenia wszystkiego z perspektywy boga doprowadziło do tragedii. Wideo pokazuje drona wznoszącego się na tle słońca, aż kurczy się i znika w jego tarczy. Ścieżka dźwiękowa i tekst pracy czerpią z fragmentu książki Michela de Certeau Praktyki życia codziennego.
